No Scratch is a scratchcard information app for the UK National Lottery. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we use it.

What We Collect

• Approximate location (city/region level) — used to show which areas are most interested in which scratchcards. We never collect your precise GPS coordinates.
• Card views — which scratchcards you tap on, and when. This helps us understand which cards are most popular.
• Email address — only if you purchase the Prize Alerts feature. Used solely to send you daily alerts about new cards and prize availability.
• Device type — e.g. iPhone. Used for analytics only.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect your name
• We do not collect precise GPS location
• We do not collect financial information (all purchases are handled by Apple)
• We do not share your data with third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising

How We Use Your Data

• Location and card view data is used only for internal analytics to improve the app
• Email addresses are used only to send Prize Alert emails you have paid for
• You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any alert email

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on servers in the European Union. We retain analytics data for 12 months. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe.

Your Rights (UK GDPR)

As a UK resident you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Unsubscribe from emails at any time

Third Party Services

• Apple App Store — handles all in-app purchases. Apple's privacy policy applies to purchase data.
• Resend — used to send alert emails. See resend.com/privacy
• National Lottery — all scratchcard data is sourced from national-lottery.co.uk and national-lottery.com

Children

No Scratch is intended for adults aged 18 and over in line with UK gambling regulations. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
